Work needed to be done on the tables and the MOC for Brick Live London. On this note, I decided to change up area 51 and the train yard. I changed the backdrop to area 51 so that it was more structurally sound and easy to transport.
I moved it from the back of the city to the same space as the airport. Changed a few bit around and marked where bits went with plant and stone bricks. This keeps all the aircraft in one area.
The next headache was the layout of the track at the back of the train yard. As I am using the 9-volt system I can’t use the Flexi track. For some reason, the track is no positioning right. I don’t know if it is connecting wrong at one section and then this snowballs on round to the other end of the track. After a lot of debate, I got what I think is my best option for the small space that I have. Only time will tell.
3 Deliveries in one day. All ordered from BrickLink at the weekend but with the bank holiday on Monday everything is backlogged. A lot of tiles and plates. Most parts to finish of the Wayne Tower, Hospital and work progress on Lord Business Tower.
Running low on 1x bricks and 1x plates. I seem to have a stockpile of colors that tare no use to me. Then I use them on the underside of mocs and then need them.
Some Lego Batman Movie Minifigs and Office minifigs. Eraser and Vacation Batman for Wayne Tower.
I also got some stickers for the Batman( com)puter. They come from the lego set 70909 Lego Batcave Break in.
And last but not least our first Lego baby.

Wayne Tower got its internal office furniture fitted. I’ve save and seen some great ideas on Pinterest. I bookmarked them then used a few different technics last night. A simple Google of Lego Furniture brings up some great stuff.
As this is a working office I fitted several desks. Some more high-class desks. A lounge area, drinks machine, water machine with rack. The rack has some wine glasses incase the minifigs get a bit stressed at work.
Filing cablnet, printer and photocopier are the other MOCs. The photocopier has some green minifig notes beside it and a swiss flag on top. Also in the middle of the floor is a large golf mat. Just in case minifigs get some spare time.
This is 3rd floor. Ive revamped the Batman level as it need larger windows wit a mechinism to gain easy access. Ive also the Joker break in t do on the next floor up. Also intend on fittling the Batwing 10916

Yes Bradleyville, well, part of Bradleyville will be at Brick Live London. Excited and nervous. Excited as this is all new to me and what most AFOL want to get to. Nervous as this is a steep learning curve, I’m in at the deep end and are my MOC’s good enough.
I’d took the plunge a few weeks back and submitted to display at Belfast Brick Live Show. The guys said why not try the other shows, I’m busy with the other dates but London suited. So as most of my MOC’s are still work in progress at 99% I was optimistic. But they seemed to like them. Time to get the finger out and get them 100% complete.
I’m taking Area 51, Car Park, Hillside, Wayne Tower and Lord Business Tower. As I’d never intended in removing them they are all going to need a little adjustment for travel and display. I’ve been asking some other ADOF about travel procedures and tips. Bubble wrap seems to be the answer.
The show is 27th-30th July. Now to work on the MOC’s and Travel arrangements. I will be posting updates on the MOCS on
So our latest update to Bradleyville is Lego Creator 10218 Petshop. The set was bought a few weeks back. I started it and left Bradley, age 6, to do a bit. I returned after work and he had the majority done. I was looking forward to seeing some of the building technics, maybe he can teach me. We moved some of the buildings about and positioned it beside some of the other modular buildings.
Pet shop. Im not going to do a full depth review of the pet shop as there are loads out there. IMO it’s a great set, great building technics and worth the £120 I paid for it.
Hospital. We also got all the glass panels into our Hospital. Some tiling at the front with a small grave. Some more small elements to get then that is the hospital dusted.
Watch the full update below.
The latest build was the Lego Creator set 31053. Treehouse Adventures. This set was bought for me as a gift and one of those sets I would have bought myself, but unlikely to ever get round to it.
This set comes with a small base area, made up of green and blue so I decided to put it up beside the log cabin set I have. Most of the creator sets go well with each other. I do have a few houses and thought this would have gone well here bust is simply too big.
Build. The build was quite good, lots of small elements used to make bigger sections. The tree house folds out and has a great mechanism that allows the bride to drop and act as a set of ladders. Different shades of browns, greens, and blues add detail.
Minifigures. The set comes with 2 Minifigures. A boy and a girl. the girl is pictured with a paint roller and the boy comes with tools and hat for extra play.
Play. With the folding bridge, extras that include a water pistol, wheelbarrow, and tools there seems to be a lot of hidden gems in this set. Bradley seems to enjoy it and it will look well in Bradleyville. Nice little telescope on the roof, seats and water features add to the detail on this build.
Extras. There were some nice 1×1 spares but I just added them to the water feature below the tree house.
Value. RRP £25 and with this there is 387 bits and IMO great value with a great build.
Overall. Great set to have on the layout with some hidden gems, especially the mechanism of the bridge.

So on a recent trip to Palma, I uncovered a Little gem of a shop. Here I bout Lego Crawler Crane. 7632. It’s massive. It comes from the construction sets that where out a few years back. I am chasing after a lot of this set as it fits well with any city layout.
I got the set for 45 Euro. It’s used but I knew this was a good price as I’d looked at it in the past and it was well over £100. The crane’s boom stands above any other building in Bradleyville.
The only thing letting it down is the hook. I thought that the Technic Metal hook would have been a better idea. The track system seems stiff and doesn’t work as well as the new Nexo Knights set we have.
There is plenty of storage room for Minifigure tools and accessories. Cab sits well and lets easy access for Minifigures.
The rope system works well but Bradley hasn’t tried it to the extreme. The set comes with a small extra panel set. It also sits well with the other construction sets we have.
May update 2017: Our newest addition is our Lego Crawler Crane, 7632 Brickset Link. I picked this up in Palma Sapin in a lovely Lego shop. I will do a full write up on it soon and link here. I added our latest minifigures from series 17. I’ve also changed the shuttle station. More work on the outside of Wayne Tower. Lot more progress on Lord Business Evil Lair. Both these have their own posts.
Placement of the Scarecrow set. New track layout in the container yard. Some new baseplates also added.
